Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was made in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk, a well-known actor, director, producer, writer, teacher, and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching television and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials as just a child. She received a Bachelor's of Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk relocated to Toronto and moved to Los Angeles within the decade that followed 1999. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first met him in 2007 during an acting workshop located in Los Angeles. The couple got engaged in 2009, and were married in a civil ceremony in December of the same year. When she converted to Judaism the couple were married again in an Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of May of 2016. Silk's TV work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Silk was cast in the lead role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus, in Lost Girl. Silk revealed to fans the good information that she was pregnant on the set of season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive to promote Season Three. This was presented by Showcase at the special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the show's premiere. Silk was working on Lost Girl since the final season episode was first conceived on January 6, 2013, announced on Twitter her intention to return June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her role as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top TV Couples. E! named the couple as the top Television Couple in 2013.
